Usage:  Web-Enable Green Screens with ASP.NET and SOAP/AM

Washington Federal Savings (WFS) has been a long-time NonStop user, having purchased their first system back in the late 1970’s to optimally handle vast amounts of banking customer account information securely. Since then, WFS has been growing through new branch openings and acquisitions. This continuous growth has fueled the drive to modernize the NonStop application user interface to facilitate user training and expedite application development.

TIC Software Solutions

  • Provided training for the NonStop COBOL programming team in Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and ASP.NETl
  • Worked with team in building a proof-of-concept prototype on Microsoft IIS and ASP.NET to replace the SCOBOL programs.
  • Recommended the use of SOAP/AM Server to seamlessly integrate the ASP.NET web forms with the existing Pathway COBOL Servers
